HOW GO GREEN WORKS

GO Green Philippines is a partnership project between the FAME Foundation and the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources Region VII of the Philippines.

Dubbed go green philippines logo this long term project, with a primary purpose of forest management and sustainability, aims to replenish a 100-hectare government timberland with pangantuon or Mamalis (Pittosprorum Pentandrum) trees.

The Pangantuon tree is the main source of white wood that is valued for its beautiful absorption of colors, perfect for the colorful natural wood accessories the Philippines is known for.
